Abstract
The electronic clock mainly uses the electronic technology to make the clock computerization, the digitization, with the clock precision, small size, scalable performance and other characteristics, which is widely used in our daliy life and working. In addition, in our daliy life , industrial and agricultural often use the timing system, which require the electronic clock output to have multiple functions.
This design uses the MCS-51 single-chip microcomputer and the C language is adopted in this it, The electronic clock can achieve these functions: display the hour, the minute, the second and the year, the month, the date, alarming. This system of electronic clock is composed of the clock circuit, showing circuit, alarming circuit, the output circuit, adjustment circuit.Through the software programming,51 SCM can display the hours, minutes, seconds, and year, month, day on the LED; it makes use of the clock chip DS1302 to achieve the functions of accounting and timing;we can use the keyswitches to set up the alarm clock;when the time is arriveing the time we seted up,the buzzer sends out the sound which means alarming; we can set up some different points alarming itime, when the time arrivaled ,the relay output. The design of the timing system can meet the application requirements on many occasions.
This text describes the basic principles of the AT89C51 , analysis the various pin functions of the AT89C51 and the AT89C51’s role in the design of the circuit . This article also discusses the working principle of the clock chip DS1302 and its application.
